A food and fluid diary for kidney disease, with the source on every number.
Log what you eat and drink. See potassium, phosphorus, sodium, protein and fluid next to the targets your kidney care team gave you.
What makes it different
- Official food tables, offline: USDA FoodData Central (US), Canadian Nutrient File (Canada) and McCance and Widdowson's CoFID (UK).
- Every number shows where it comes from: the table, its version and the food's code.
- "No data" is never counted as zero. If a table has no potassium value for a food, Renalday says so, and your daily total says how many foods are missing.
- No score and no traffic lights. Renalday doesn't judge foods. It shows the numbers.
- Your team's targets, not ours. Maximum, minimum or range, in mg or mmol, entered by you.
- Barcode and label reading on the phone, with every value confirmed by you before it is saved.
- No account, no ads, and your diary stays on your phone.
- Large text, dark mode, VoiceOver, and profiles for the person you care for.
Searching foods and seeing their values is free. The diary, history, report for your care team, recipes and the camera are part of Renalday Pro (monthly, yearly with a free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase). If you stop paying, everything you logged stays on your phone and you can still export it.
Renalday is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It doesn't set targets or interpret results — you enter the targets your kidney care team gives you. Always talk to your doctor or renal dietitian before changing your diet or treatment.
